Purchased more ram. Yippy!!

I finally made the decision to go ahead and purchase some much needed memory for my computer. I only have 512MB ram right now which isn’t so great when I’m trying to editing photographs or play games. It lags so much to the point I just walk away and do something so that it has time to load.

Thankfully, I found the right memory I need for my computer. So I ended up getting two sticks of 1GB each so I have 2GB ram in total. Hopefully this will drastically change the speed my computer has when loading programs and playing games.

I ordered it last night around 7pm. I should of ordered it before 3pm because then it would of been shipped and I would of got it today. Oh well…tomorrow I will be looking forward to receiving it in the mail. Then it a whole 5 minutes, I’ll have it installed into my computer.

I really can’t wait for it to arrive. I just checked my tracking number and it says it should be delivered tomorrow before 12pm (EST). Yippy!! *does happy dance*

Funky Monkey Key Covers

I finally got some of these funky monkey key covers. I absolutely love them!! I kept the pink and purple for myself. The other four colours I gave to my younger sister who ended up using two for herself and two for her hubby.

Now I just have to be patient and wait for my Hello Kitty lanyard that I ordered from the internet to arrive at my house. Then my keys will be complete. Right now I’m using a lanyard that I bought from the college I attended. It’s been years since I’ve changed it, but it still looks brand new. So why do I need a new one? Meh…I like Hello Kitty and decided to get a new one. LOL!

Ever Lose Someone You Love?

I am absolutely in love with Mariah Carey’s new song called “Bye Bye”. The first time I heard it, I got goosebumps and tears just started coming down my face. It really was that emotional for me. I’m sure anyone can relate to the song as it’s about losing those who you love. Check out the song below.

Finally…I fixed it!!

For a last couple of days (which seemed like forever), my wireless internet has been running really REALLY slow. The signal wouldn’t be there, then it would and so on. It was really pissing me off because I couldn’t really do anything online. Knowing me, I HAVE TO BE ONLINE. I mean, I have so many websites to take care of, forums to participate in, and people to visit. Not to mention email, facebook, Ebay, etc. The list can go on and on.

So tonight, it was acting stupid again. I sat for a second thinking to myself, “I know it’s not my internet service provider. They are superb!” What else could it be. So I checked out my wireless network adapter at the back of my computer and moved the signal piece over to one side. Viola! Presto! It worked. My connection speed is back up to what it’s suppose to running on cable internet.

I am sooooo happy!! I finally can get a chance to reply to emails and check stuff without losing my signal.

Bought some things for my nephew

I went shopping yesterday. No surprise there since I am addicted to spending money. Anyways, I picked up some neat things for my little nephew Marquis.

I got him this adorable t-shirt, a Winnie-the-Pooh baseball cap, a straw hat, and even some gardening gloves. I think the gloves may be a little big for his hands but we’ll see when I put them on him when he comes over again.

In fact, I just can’t wait until he comes over. I miss him already and he’s only been gone a few days. LOL! I just love coming home from work then getting a chance to play with him because his laugh and smile make me laugh too. It’s so darn cute!!

See what I mean in the picture off to the right side. How can you say no to a face like that? I sure can’t because he’s too adorable!!

Man, I can’t wait to have my own children. I’ll definitely spoil them rotten too just like I am with my nephew. Hopefully I’ll get another nephew or even a niece after my other sister Lisa gets married later on this year. Now that would be even more fun!! LOL!

I’ve always loved working with children. That’s why I’m an Early Childhood Education graduate. It was fun while working alongside children of all ages and seeing how they solve problems. In fact, I can’t wait until my nephew is in the preschool ages. To me, that’s the most fun time for a child with learning lots of new things.
